Rules and criteria
Entries must meet these criteria in order to qualify.
- Use the props provided. You may use a different animation as long as the props are visible. If you are a tiny, you can set the props on the ground instead of holding them.
- You choose the avatar. Your avatar can be either male or female, human or non-human, in any attire. However, the pose provided would only work for humanoid avatars (including androids, anthros, etc).
- If you choose to be mer, only photos showing Mer Betta tails will be accepted. (Yes, I'm biased that way. ;) ) If you don't own a Mer Betta tail, please grow legs for this contest.
- No copyrighted characters (i.e.: N'avi, Star Trek officers, Disney characters, etc). Wearing an "Arabian" outfit is fine as long as the avatar doesn't look like Jasmine from Disney's "Aladdin".
- Text, layout, and aspect ratio must be the same as the original cover art.
- The background must be plain, with gradient, or blurred so as not to detract from the avatar. A light-colored background would work best with the colors of the text.
- Shadow is optional.
- At the bottom left corner, enter "Cover-Do-Over by: " followed by your name in small font (no larger than the subtitle).
- Title must start with '"Love, Like Dim Sum" Cover-Do-Over'.
- The description must include: Derivative work based on "<a href="http://www.LoveLikeDimSum.com/">Love, Like Dim Sum</a>" cover art design with restricted permission from Lea Tesoro / Opal Lei.
Winner selection

- On [tbd], one grand-prize winner will be selected from all previous winners to win 10,000L.
- Winners will be notified via email and inworld if a Second Life name is provided with the entry.
- Winners must reply privately with their email address associated with their Amazon Kindle account and other information that Amazon requires for a Kindle gift to be delivered. The email address and other information will not be used for anything else besides delivery of the Kindle book.
- The list of winners will be posted on the LoveLikeDimSum.com website.
- Only one win per entry for the twice a month selections. Multiple entries are encouraged. Non-winning entries will remain in the selection set for the following period. The sooner you enter, the more chances you have to win.

- Winners are responsible for taxes on the prizes they receive. Void where prohibited. No purchase necessary.
