advertiser/sponsor guidelines

ADVERTISERS AND SPONSORS

TIPS:
  • To track the effectiveness of the ad or sponsorship, you can provide a unique SLURL and set up a guest tracker at that SLURL (Opal can provide you with a guest tracker script if you don't have one).  However, you must clear the landing point setting in your parcel's About Land; otherwise, all your guests will be directed to your parcel's landing point.
  • Provide a Marketplace URL, in case you decide to sell your parcel.  That way, the show's viewers can still find you.

Advertising

As an advertiser, you will receive:
  • a 30-second advertising spot near the end of the show
  • a SLURL to your store and/or a URL to your SL Marketplace store in the YouTube description
  • your logo on the website, linked to your SLURL or Marketplace store

Pricing per episode:
  • 30-second ad : TBD
  • 60-second ad : TBD

Ads will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis.

After payment, please send the following to [email protected]:
  • your store logo (png or jpg) that is at least 720 pixels in height
  • your store's SLURL or marketplace URL or your store's website
  • machinima ad in the size 1280x720 (HD) in either .avi or .wmv format

Sponsorships and other considerations

As a sponsor, you will receive:
  • a mention in the credits
  • a SLURL to your store and/or a URL to your SL Marketplace store in the YouTube description
  • your logo on the website, linked to your SLURL or Marketplace store

Please send the following to [email protected]:
  • whether you're providing a gift certificate or a product for the guests
  • whether you're providing something for Opal's wardrobe (please see guidelines below)
  • your store logo (png or jpg) that is at least 720 pixels in height
  • your store's SLURL or marketplace URL or your store's website

Gifts for guests

If giving a gift certificate or a product with Transfer perms,
  • send an email with the information listed above
  • send the Transfer gift certificate to Opal Lei with an IM including the name of the object or folder

If giving a product with Copy/NoTransfer perms,
  • send an email with the information listed above
  • send photo and description of the product you will be giving away
  • wait for Opal to send the name(s) of the recipient
